Most of my healthy house (indoor) plants after a while get sticky substance over them, get wilted and eventually die. I can see sticky substance falling all around over my floor, carpet and vase.

Aphids are the primary cause for plants having sticky residue on them, so look for aphids such as greenfly, blackfly, whitefly, the occaional.redfly as well as scale – all of these are insects, with differing appearance.
The most hard to spot are whitefly and scale – whitefly as they tend to be much smaller than the others, and scale insects as they sucker onto a plant, with a tough outer coating that often helps to camoflage them.
If you can identify what it is that’s sucking sap from your plants, then you’ll be well on your way to curing it for future. If you introduce new plants, see if you can wait until you’ve treated and cleared the current infestations, so that the problem doesn’t perpetuate itself.
I use 2 forms of treatment – my preferred method is to use insectidal soap, made from fatty acids. Otherwise, a backup is a systemic inseciticide: the word systemic within its name indicates that it enters the plants ‘system’ and doesn’t just kill insects on contact, as most do. This then means that sucking insects ingest some of the chemical that is poisonous to them.
My mum had a major problem, and found it easier to take some of her plants outdoors to treat, so that she didn’t add sprays etc, on top of the sticky carpet mess that these insects had left. Spraying this way you can be really thorough, coating under and over the leaves. Don’t leave the plants outside, as they would suffer stress from the contrasting conditions there.
Once plants have been infested, it’s easier for other problems to then attack them as they are weakened, and it’s probably a secondary issue, other than total exhaustion, that’s causing your plants to finally die.
Hope this helps. Good luck! Rob
Have you inspected your plants for bugs? Scale and aphids will suck plant juices causing plants to wilt and die, while leaving sticky residue on and around the plant. More info here about bugs and how to get rid of them.
sounds like a cooking issue…..
